Yosemite Wedding Highlights

Yosemite is one of my favorite places to capture weddings. On this day we had some stormy weather but the bride and groom embraced it and enjoyed their wedding day.

Why choose me to capture your Yosemite wedding.

  • Local expertise: I know the best times and specific viewpoints for iconic backdrops like Valley, Glacier Point, and Tuolumne Meadows, as well as quieter, less-traveled spots for more private portraits.

  • Weather and light mastery: Yosemite’s light changes quickly. I read conditions to schedule portrait time for golden-hour glow, avoid midday harsh light, or make the most of dramatic overcast or stormy skies.

  • Logistical experience: From arriving with the right gear to scouting accessible locations, she anticipates logistical hurdles—parking, hiking distance, permit windows—and plans accordingly so your timeline stays smooth.

  • Respectful presence: I shoot unobtrusively when needed and steps in for gentle direction to create relaxed, natural poses. My priority is honoring your experience and the park’s rules.

  • Durable, reliable equipment: Multiple camera bodies, varied lenses for landscapes and close emotion, and backup systems mean no missed moments even if conditions or gear fail.

  • Post-production that matches the setting: Editing emphasizes true-to-life colors and timeless tones that complement Yosemite’s grandeur without looking over-processed.
